There are many great sights along the Seine in Paris, even better if you can walk along the banks with your children without being disturbed by traffic. Since April 2017, the two banks of the Seine between the Eiffel Tower and Bastille (2.5 km on the left bank and 4.5 km on the right) have been transformed into a pedestrian zone with many extras. A paradise for pedestrians, runners or bikers, with outdoor play facilities, a mini football field, climbing walls and green areas.
You can also combine the visit with a walk and a boat trip. If you take the Batobus and buy a day ticket, you can conveniently get off at the landing stages, walk a bit or visit something and continue boating if you wish.
However, it is better to take something with you to eat, as the snack stands are quite expensive.
